Wine is Music

Nowadays The Villa is the location of the Azienda Agricola Dall’Abaco Fedrigoni, managed directly by the fourth generation of the family Fedrigoni. It is surrounded by seventeen hectares of cultivated fields: three hectares are cultivated with olive trees, seven hectares with the most typical “cultivar” of the Valpolicella area: corvina, corvinone, molinara, and rondinella grapes. The surrounding forest, the particular exposure to East-West and North-South, the altitude and the richness of water, makes this picturesque place a special enviroment for vineyarding. The grapes have a mean age of twenty years, and are grown up through the traditional methods of “pergola Veronese” and, the new plants, of guyot. These plants have a perfect producing balance, thanks to the several years’ experience together with the use of the most updated agronomical knowledge, and thanks to the disposition of the ground. In these vineyards are cultivated the grapes for the traditional red wines of Verona: Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Classico Superiore and Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, obtained by scrupulous techniques of vinification applied in the new wine-cellar next to the court-yard.
